Sanding sponges are easy to hold, durable and can be used for wet or dry sanding. Medium grit is perfect for prepping a piece of furniture. Use fine or ultra-fine grit for the final sanding of milk or mineral paint for a buttery smooth finish. Use either grit for distressing.
