Our upper floor workshop rooms are called Create Space -- 3 bright and comfortable workshop and coworking spaces for use by individuals and groups. The spaces are free to use for free events or individual coworking during store open hours. Guests can enjoy free wifi, tea/coffee/water and restroom facilities. 

Workshops, groups or events charging admission can book the space for $10 per hour. Studio time for working on furniture or craft work is also $10 per hour. After hour events requiring a store staff person can be booked for $15 per hour. 

For event booking, please contact us to book one of our rooms. Individual coworking use is on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please sign in at the store cash desk upon arrival. See below for room descriptions. 

Note that all current government Pandemic Protocols will be in place including the following:
  • prescreening of guests/users
  • frequent cleaning
  • face mask requirement
  • limitation on group size

Note that unfortunately our space is not wheelchair accessible. We reserve the right to limit individual use time during high demand periods.

room oneThis room comfortably seats 6 people and is perfect for individual coworking or small group meetings/events.

This is our large messy workshop room. This room can comfortably accommodate up to 10 people plus instructors. There are a variety of folding chairs and tables that can be configured as needed. Drop clothes, aprons, and work trays are also available. One wall is a chalkboard wall which is great for making visual notes and instructing. There's a bright south-facing window with lots of natural light.

room 3This is a small, funky room ideal for 1 to 3 people coworking or holding a small meeting.
